Ian Eller, Director of Operations, and Sohrab Pathan, Senior Energy Economist, have been expertly trained in the RESET Standards and can now provide their knowledge to project teams pursuing RESET certification.
What is a RESET AP?
Like mentioned above, “the role of a RESET AP is to guide a RESET project through the project accreditation process.” - RESET
RESET APs understand the RESET Standard and how to implement it in both Commercial Interiors and Core & Shell typologies. A RESET AP is required for every RESET project so that you have an experienced individual guiding the project. By having an expert in RESET Standards with you every step of the way, you have clarification of the requirements and process of monitoring built environments throughout the RESET Standard.
What is the RESET Standard?
“The RESET Standard is a data quality standard explicitly designed for continuous monitoring sensors in the built environment. The Standard outlines the requirements necessary for the deployment of monitors, collection of monitor data and reporting of results.” - RESET
There are several different RESET Standards that project teams can implement overtime but we will be focusing on the Operational Standard, RESET Air, which is the data standard for air quality monitoring. With RESET Air, “indoor air quality (IAQ) data is required to be continuously gathered through air quality monitors that measure the following parameters:
